Lorrie Klein, M.D.

Dr. Lorrie J. Klein grew up in New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her medical degree from Rutgers Medical School (Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.)

Dr. Klein completed her internship at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and her residency training in Dermatology at the University of California-Irvine (UCI), where she won the outstanding Resident Teacher of the Year Award.

Dr Klein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (Board Certified in Dermatology). She has served as Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at UCI Medical School, and has supervised dermatology residents in their Dermatology-Plastic Surgery Clinics at the Long Beach V.A. Medical Center.

Dr. Klein has won several awards and has published several articles in medical journals. She has lectured to other physicians at medical conferences and at numerous community and civic organizations. She is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Medesthetics Magazine and Aesthetic Trends and Technologies.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, has served as Chairperson of the Orange County Skin Cancer Task Force of the American Cancer Society, is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Dermatology Society of Orange County, Pacific Dermatology Association, American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery, and is on the staffs at South Coast Medical Center and UCI Medical Center.

Dr. Klein is a member of the National Education Faculty for Allergan (BOTOX® and JUVEDERM™ trainer), a member of the Medical Education Faculty for Bioform (Radiesse trainer) and an advisor for Suneva, the maker of Artefill. Dr. Klein lectures for and is a consultant for Allergan and is one of only a handful of physicians in the world invited to be in Allergan's elite Black Diamond level Aesthetic Partnership. In 2010, only 30 physicians in the U.S. achieved the level of Black Diamond, representing the top level of physicians using Botox®, Juvederm™ and Latisse in the U.S.

Dr. Klein specializes in all diseases of the skin, hair and nails. She has had extensive training in skin cancer surgery (including Moh’s microscopically controlled surgery) and also specializes in laser resurfacing, sclerotherapy and other cosmetic dermatological procedures.

Nancy Koehler, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant

Nancy is a Certified Physician Assistant who has been specializing in dermatology and working with Dr. Klein since 2002. She has a special interest in acne, rashes, moles and skin cancer. Nancy also performs treatments with our Fraxel lasers, VBeam laser and SmoothBeam Laser and has been personally trained by Dr. Klein in her technique for Botox, Juvederm and Radiesse injections. Besides being a very skilled and talented specialist in dermatology, Nancy's wonderful sense of humor makes her patients' visits as enjoyable as they are medically beneficial.

Linda Rank, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant

Linda is a Certified Physician Assistant who has been specializing in dermatology since 2001, joining our practice in 2007. She is skilled in general, surgical and laser dermatology, with a special interest in mole removal surgery, acne and VBeam laser treatment for rosacea and face veins. Linda has been personally trained by Dr. Klein in her technique for Botox, Juvederm and Radiesse injections. Besides being very skilled in her dermatological diagnosis and treatments, Linda's warm and caring personality gives patients the "TLC" they truly appreciate.

Barbara Wade, R.N.
Registered nurse

Barbara is a registered nurse with special expertise in lasers. Since joining our practice in 2002 she has mastered the laser techniques for multiple laser and light-based technologies, including Fraxel re:store, Fraxel re:pair, SmoothBeam, VBeam, GentleYag, GentleLase and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). Barbara is also our microdermabrasion "queen", giving our patients the most aggressive but comfortable treatments possible. Her skills and attention to detail make Barbara one of the best laser nurses in Orange County.

Janet Pickett, R.N.
Registered nurse

Janet is a registered nurse with a special expertise in laser hair removal, Botox and Juvederm injections. She has been personally trained in Botox and Juvederm techniques by Dr. Klein. Janet has been working with us since 2006. Janet's kind and gentle personality, combined with her excellent skills keeps her patients happy and looking great!
