How does it work?
CoolTouch’s revolutionary approach to skin rejuvenation combines a unique, patented cooling cryogen spray and an Nd-Yag laser to give you the optimal results with the least inconvenience. The protective cooling spray is applied to the skin, allowing the CoolTouch laser light to pass harmlessly through the upper layers of your skin to stimulate the cells deep below the surface. These precise laser pulses stimulate cells called fibroblasts to produce new collagen. As the collagen layer thickens, skin tone and elasticity improve and wrinkles diminish.
How long does a treatment take and what will I look like afterwards?
The CoolTouch treatment is so quick and easy, many patients come in for treatment during their lunch hour. Treatments last 15 to 20 minutes. There is no recovery time; you may just look slightly red for a short time afterwards. You can immediately wear make-up if you desire and carry on with your day.No one will ever know.
When will I see results?
Because the fibroblasts must now produce new collagen, you will not see results until approximately 1 month after your treatment. With continued treatments, performed on a monthly basis, more dramatic results will be seen.
How many treatments are needed?
At least 2 treatments are needed to stimulate new collagen growth. Three to six treatments are needed to significantly improve wrinkles. Treatments are usually performed once a month.
